Please see below the Upper East Side items on the LPC Agenda for Tuesday, March 3, 2009. Public hearings are held in the Conference Room at the Municipal Building, 1 Centre Street, 9th Floor, Borough of Manhattan. Any person requiring reasonable accommodation in order to participate in the hearing or attend the meeting should call or write to the Landmarks Commission no later than five business days before the hearing or meeting. Hearing times are announced on the LPC website, the Friday prior to a hearing.
712 Madison Avenue- Upper East Side Historic District- LAID OVER
An Italianate/neo-Grec style residential building, designed by Gage Inslee and built in 1871, and altered in 1920 to accomodate storefronts at the first and second floors. Application is to install a new storefront and construct a rear yard addition.
62 East 92nd Street- Carnegie Hill Historic District
A neo-Renaissance style townhouse designed by Laurence F. Peck and built in 1924. Application is to construct a rooftop addition and install mechanical equipment.
75 East 93rd Street- (former) George F. Baker House- Individual Landmark
A modified Federal style residence designed by Delano & Aldrich and built in 1917-18. Application is to construct a rooftop addition and modify the courtyard.
