CB8 Hearing: 1/14/13 (Approved)
LPC Hearing: 1/8/13 (Laid Over); 1/15/13 (Approved)
FRIENDS Testimony: The proposed modifications to windows at the upper floors of 650 Park Avenue do not conform to the overarching placement and configuration of the building’s fenestration, which is strikingly consistent despite the lack of a window master plan. To ensure consistency in fenestration design, our Preservation Committee asks that the new windows reflect the rhythm and divisions of the existing Chicago-style and paired 1/1 configurations as closely as possible. FRIENDS respectfully requests that the Commission deny the application as proposed.
