FRIENDS' Testimony:

FRIENDS’ Preservation Committee is pleased that a masterplan for future window alterations is being established at 157 East 72nd Street. FRIENDS feels that this proposal for the narrow vertical restroom windows is appropriate. We feel that the proposed dew drop textured glazing presents a similar appearance to the existing textured windows and will provide the desired privacy without compromising the building’s character. This approach has a more permanent and professional appearance than the alternative of tinted film applied on the interior of individual windows. FRIENDS supports this application.
